Knightstereophonics proudly designed and manufactured the surface mount device (SMD) type 24 positions stepped attenuators. It has been designed with ladder type format which provide the shortest signal path to achieve Hi-Fidelity sound quality with minimal losses. The solder content in each solder joints are evenly controlled which is not comparable by hand soldering. The mechanism has been tested by our life cycle tester and proven that that it can reach 25,000+ cycles

In search of perfection, we evaluated different brands and thick film resistor series, a specific resistor type has been selected for more musical and natural sound.  The SMD 24 Position Stepped Attenuator is highly recommended and has been applied in our equipments.
